When Addicted to Saving had its facelift a few weeks ago, I knew I would have to fill out my “About Me” page. You all might be surprised to know that typing about myself was such a challenge! I have some updates on Addicted to Saving’s Daily Email. First – if you haven’t signed up and you are interested in signing up, you can use the entry form above, or you can subscribe on the entry form that is permanently displayed on this website. (To see the permanent entry form, scroll down and look for the entry form on the right side of the page.)
Now – for all of you who are current subscribers, please make sure you are receiving the email each day. Many of you who with road runner email addresses and earthlink email addresses have not received my daily email. (Thank you for your patience – I have received at least 100 emails from those of you affected.) That said, the problem has been resolved and you should be receiving the daily email now. If you are not, try resubscribing using the form above or the subscription button on the bottom right of this page. If that still doesn’t work, using the “Contact Me” link on the top of this webpage, please email me you email address and I will try to figure out the problem.
Lastly – as a reminder – this daily email is sent out each day at or around 4 pm EST. Each email includes every post I have made for the previous 24 hours. This means that tonight’s email will include every post I’ve made from 4:01 pm EST Sunday afternoon through 3:59 pm EST today (Monday). Some of the deals in each day’s email will have expired by the time you receive the email. If you are concerned about missing out on deals, I recommend that you do not rely primarily on my email. Instead, check in to AddictedtoSaving.com once or twice throughout the day, “like” Addicted to Saving on Facebook HERE or follow Addicted to Saving on Twitter HERE.

I received an exciting email last night from Zaycon Foods! Their price for boneless, skinless chicken breasts has decreased to $1.49/lb! Zaycon Foods currently has countless Savings Events located across the country. The events sell different products but many are selling 40 pounds of boneless, skinless chicken breasts for $1.49/lb which is an amazing price! If you have already paid for your order at the previous price of $1.69/lb, you will receive a credit of $8.00 to your Zaycon Foods account. This credit can be used toward any future purchase. Your account will reflect this credit no later than Saturday, Sept. 24th 2011. For any reason, at any time you can also request a cash refund.
If you are interested in purchasing chicken for the Savings Event near you, make sure you sign up to be on Zaycon Foods email list and look to see if there is an event scheduled near you. If you are looking for a fun physical activity that benefits a great cause this weekend, you might want to check this out. This month is Pediatric Cancer Awareness month and in honor of that, this Saturday, 9/24/11 at Straub Park in Downtown St. Petersburg, FL, you can participate in the the CureSearch Walk. If you are unfamiliar with CureSearch, it is an organization aimed at conquering childhood cancers. A friend of mine has a child who was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer just a few months ago when he was 5 months old. She is the one who told me about this awesome organization and the awesome walk. If you know me – I love running because many of the races I run in support awesome causes just like this. So, if you are interested in participating this Saturday, go HERE. And, please note that you can be a virtual participator if you can’t make it to St Petersburg. 🙂
