I didn’t NEED anything at Walgreens when I went Sunday night. But, I knew they had a lot of freebies and moneymakers this week to give away. AND, I had RRs (Register Rewards) that were expiring. I started off the night with a $1RR, $5RR, $5RR and $1RR. I split the purchases above into two transactions to minimize out of pocket spending. I did okay at Walgreens.. I’m not thrilled about my spending to savings ratio… but, I did have RRs expiring and I was able to get more to use next time…

I think this may be the first time I’ve posted a CVS Photo Show and Tell. CVS is one of my FAVORITE stores. They are super coupon friendly, their staff is accomodating, they give out rain checks and overall, they are just really really easy to get free products at!
I spent $5.64 on all of the items above. AND, I received $13.00 ECBs (Extra Care Bucks) to spend on future shopping trips. In a sense, they paid me $7.36 to walk out of the store with all of the groceries/toiletries pictured above! If you are new to saving money at CVS, read my Intro to CVS blog.
Here’s the rundown and how to do what I did for today’s CVS stop:
I started out with a $10.00 ECB, $6.00 ECB and a $5.00 ECB. I decided to split my purchase into two transactions to minimize my out of pocket spending.

Starbucks has a great coupons out for $1.00 off any size Starbucks Frappuccinos. This is a great coupon. When I first started getting into couponing, Walgreens would often have awesome sales where I could get a glass Frappuccino for anywhere from $0.25 to $0.50 each! These coupons don’t expire until 6/1/10 so let’s hope for a great sale to use them on!
