This post includes specific items you can purchase and coupons that you can use to maximize your dollar AND your Extra Care Bucks at CVS. Please know that you do not have to follow these transactions if you do not want to. The goal of this post is to help you get an idea on how to roll your Extra Care Bucks from one scenario to the next. Please also know that these transactions do not take into account tax. Every state taxes differently so you may need to budget a little extra to cover tax.

**Also – Don’t forget that your ECBs will expire in a few weeks and if you let them expire, you are basically throwing away money. If you are concerned you will let them expire, I would put your ECBs towards paper products like toilet paper, paper towels, diapers, etc which are hard to get dirt cheap!

Another great idea would be to use te b1g1 dove coupon, and if you buy six, after the ECB, the total would be .62 cents each. But I also have a few .75 cents off dove from coupons.com, which will make them .41 cents each for me. It would be lower, but I only could print two.

Hi Halley – I had the same idea you did, but when I went to go do the Dove deal today, it wouldn’t let me use any coupons outside the B1G1. that is the second time lately, I have not been able to use a “cents off” coupon on the first product with a Bogo coupon. Am I missing something? Liza, any ideas? Also, I bought 3 Huggies Slip-On’s a week or two back as part of the Buy 6 get 1 Free campaign. I see the running tally at the bottom of my CVS receipts that I have purchased 3. i went to go buy another one today because they were on sale, and I had a $3 coupon (and $2 Saving Star activated with CVS card linked – not showing yet, how long does that take?? + 41 ECB) and it did NOT add that pack of Huggies to my running total. My receipt still shows 3 towards the reward with 3 left to go, and all of us that shop CVS know those things are updated on the receipt at the exact time you hit the “limit”. Hmmm, lots of questions…. Any Help Halley or Liza or anyone else in CVS-land?! 😉

I have noticed already at the bottom of the receipt it will say Sept. 23, you have purchased 3 huggies and still need 3 yet. So I’m not sure why sometimes it updates a lot quicker than other times. I have also called in to see how many packs I have bought. It’s a pain, but definately worth the time to figure out when your free pack of diapers will print 🙂 Also, if you save your Free Diaper coupon until they give a ECB (like this week $1) you will still receive the ECB after using the Free coupon. You can also use a manufacture coupon against the free pack so if you are buying 2 packs in same transaction it will be like this (2 packs x $9.00 = $18 so you use the free CVS diaper coupon $18 – $9 = $9.00 and use 2 Little Movers Slip-on manuf. coupons for $9 – $6 = $3.00 plus tax for the 2nd pack. Hopefully this makes sense. I have done this numerous times & I know one thing, I am spending A TON LESS than with my first child 🙂

Thanks Jolene! Yes, makes sense – I’m just trying to get to my “buy 6” so I can get my one free! LOL I need more $3 off coupons to make it worth it but I can’t find anymore anywhere!

Erin,
If you are close to Sarasota area, I can give you plenty 🙂 I would mail them to you but they expire tomorrow on Saturday 10/8. If you can find sales to use w/ these little movers coupons it makes it so much cheaper than pull-ups. Let me know if you or anyone else can use the coupons.
