Here are this week’s scenarios for CVS. This post includes specific items you can purchase and coupons that you can use to maximize your dollar AND your Extra Care Bucks at CVS. Please know that you do not have to follow these transactions if you do not want to. The goal of this post is to help you get an idea on how to roll your Extra Care Bucks from one scenario to the next. Please also know that these transactions do not take into account tax. Every state taxes differently so you may need to budget a little extra to cover tax.

**Also – Don’t forget that your ECBs will expire in a few weeks and if you let them expire, you are basically throwing away money. If you are concerned you will let them expire and you want to use them now, I would put your ECBs towards paper products like toilet paper, paper towels, diapers, etc which are hard to get dirt cheap!

Thanks, Liza, for doing the transactions!

Appreciate this site. I’m not following transaction 1 quite clearly.
By adding on the stayfree pads, you should also be adding the cost of the pads (4.49) to the transaction. You are getting 2 pads but paying for 1. right?
I do have to figure out how to add the pads into the this week’s plan though.

Hi dk70! Because the Stayfree pads are on sale B1G1 and because you are using a B1G1 coupon on the sale, you will end up getting two packages for FREE. Picture this – with the sale, you are getting two packages for the price of one. And then, when you use your coupon, the coupon is covering the cost of the one package you are paying for! This makes them both free 🙂 Let me know if you have further questions and I will explain more.
