Here are this week’s scenarios! Please note that this ad runs from Sunday, 11/23/13 through Wednesday, 11/27/13. There is a separate ad starting on Thursday. I have included five scenarios so that you can take advantage of the numerous Extra Care Bucks deals. This post includes specific items you can purchase and coupons that you can use to maximize your dollar AND your Extra Care Bucks at CVS. Please know that you do not have to follow these transactions if you do not want to. The goal of this post is to help you get an idea on how to roll your Extra Care Bucks from one scenario to the next. Please also know that these transactions do not take into account tax. Every state taxes differently so you may need to budget a little extra to cover tax.

**Also – Don’t forget that your ECBs will expire in a few weeks and if you let them expire, you are basically throwing away money. If you are concerned you will let them expire and you want to use them now, I would put your ECBs towards paper products like toilet paper, paper towels, diapers, etc which are hard to get dirt cheap!

Don’t forget your local food bank. Kraft Mac & cheese is always appreciated there.
That is what I plan to do with it.

I have been couponing just a few months, mostly at Publix and Target. I have not attempted CVS or Walgreens doing multiple transactions, etc. Just wondering, do you always do the transactions all in one day/visit? So you would be at the register and do 5 different transactions to do the above scenario? Or do you sometimes do a couple transactions one day and then go back the next day and do the rest of the transactions? I assume you could do either? Not meaning because of cost, just mean to keep my head straight with getting all the transactions figured out!! I guess maybe I could do a couple transactions, go to the car and then do the next couple, etc. so I don’t get everything confused!?!?

Heather, you are too cute! Yes, you can do all the transactions in one “register trip,” or you can come back the next day. You can also do exactly what you suggested, which is to head to the car, get your head straight around the deals, and then head back in! Good luck! 🙂
