For $1 you can also get a bag tag (you may have to ask for it). You get $.25 ECB for each transaction that you bring your own bag (sometimes even if you don’t). It is limited to one a day. You do have to have it scanned after the first item. If the checker forgets to scan it before hitting total and you used ECB, he/she may be at a loss as to how to fix it. 🙂
