It’s been a long time since I’ve typed up CVS Scenarios for all of you. If you read Addicted to Saving yesterday, you might have read my post Back to the Start. Basically, I’m trying to go back to the old days where I’m posting more content and more of the deals that you want to read. As a mom, I have less time to blog and I’m going to spend my blogging time posting what you all want. This is one of the weekly blogs you will see each week going forward! It takes a lot of time for me to put this together but I think that this is an important blog post for all of you to follow. It will help you get the most products at CVS for the least amount of money out of pocket.
This post includes specific items you can purchase and coupons that you can use to maximize your dollar AND your Extra Care Bucks at CVS. If you have Extra Care Bucks leftover from last week, apply those towards your transactions to spend even less out of money!
Please know that you do not have to follow these transactions if you do not want to. The goal of this post is to help you get an idea on how to roll your Extra Care Bucks from one scenario to the next. Please also know that these transactions do not take into account tax. Every state taxes differently so you may need to budget a little extra to cover tax.

Total Out of Pocket for 3 transactions: $21.93 + applicable taxes for approximately $57.49 in products. And if you use left over ECBs from last week you can buy even more!
**Also – Don’t forget that your ECBs will expire in a few weeks and if you let them expire, you are basically throwing away money. If you are concerned you will let them expire and you want to use them now, I would put your ECBs towards paper products like toilet paper, paper towels, etc which are hard to get dirt cheap!

Thank you for posting the drugstore scenarios again. They are probably my favorite features of this site and one of the main reasons I started following. I’ve missed them and am glad they’re back!
