This scenario includes deals that are good Sunday through Tuesday only so if you use this one, make sure to shop one of those three days! This post includes specific items you can purchase and coupons that you can use to maximize your dollar AND your Extra Care Bucks at CVS. Please know that you do not have to follow these transactions if you do not want to. The goal of this post is to help you get an idea on how to roll your Extra Care Bucks from one scenario to the next. Please also know that these transactions do not take into account tax. Every state taxes differently so you may need to budget a little extra to cover tax.
If you are new to shopping at CVS, go HERE to read Intro to CVS.
To see this week’s CVS Weekly Ad go HERE.
Transaction #1

Transaction #3
Buy two Dove body wash 18-24oz, 2/$12 (you will receive $4 ECB)
Minus two $1/1 Dove Body Wash 3/27/2011 RP Insert (exp 4/24/2011)
Minus $10 ECB from Transaction #2
Total Spent: NOTHING
Receive: $4 ECB
Total Remaining ECBs to apply towards next week’s ad: $4 ECBs
Total Out of Pocket for all 3 transactions: $7 + applicable taxes for approximately $35 in products. AND – if you used ECBs from last week, you will have spent much less out of pocket on Transaction #1.
**Also – Don’t forget that your ECBs will expire in a few weeks and if you let them expire, you are basically throwing away money. If you are concerned you will let them expire, I would put your ECBs towards paper products like toilet paper, paper towels, diapers, etc which are hard to get dirt cheap!

For Transaction 2, you can make it a little sweeter money maker.
You can still use the Minus three $4/1 Air Wick Products 3/20/2011 SS Insert (exp 5/1/2011), but the iMotion Air Wick is on sale for $5, so you would:
4 Air Wick iMotion 20.00
4 $4/1 coupons 16.00
Total $4 (plus tax) and you will receive $10 in ECB, making this a $6 money maker.

I wish I would have read that comment before I went. Nonetheless, I still did pretty good, especially for my first time out! I didn’t have the coupons for the Dove, but it was still a great deal!! However I don’t really know what to do with that many air fresheners. I am looking forward to next week’s haul.
