Below are new CVS scenarios. This post includes specific items you can purchase and coupons that you can use to maximize your dollar AND your Extra Care Bucks at CVS. Please know that you do not have to follow these transactions if you do not want to. The goal of this post is to help you get an idea on how to roll your Extra Care Bucks from one week to the next. Please also know that these transactions do not take into account tax. Every state taxes differently so you may need to budget a little extra to cover tax.

Thanks for posting this! I am in bad need of a major stock up on shampoo and conditioner. Also I love to put the Olay washes and lotions in gift baskets for Christmas. This is perfect timing, especially because I was at CVS yesterday and have over $40 in ECBS!!!

Hey Liza, I have a question about REBATES…on the the forms it states..limit one rebate PER NAME, address, or envelope. Does that mean I can send it 2 one in my name and one in hubby’s? The address or envelope part confuses me.
Liza says
Hi Lisa! Good question – the fact that it says one per address tells me it is basically saying the company will only accept one rebate form per household.

Hi, I’m confused about transaction #2…if it says “up to $6.00,” how does that still come out to .38? How are you still doing BOGO for 3 items? Also, is that BOGO coupon a CVS coupon? Sorry, I’m kinda new at this and still trying to figure it all out. Thanks! 🙂 Whitney
Liza says
Hi Whitney! That is a great question.. When a B1G1 coupon says “up to $x.xx” the coupon is basically telling you it will take up to that dollar amount off. So, since one bottle of Pantene is less than $6.00 the coupon will take the entire price of the bottle of Pantene off. However, if Pantene was priced at $7.00, the B1G1 coupon would only take off $6.00 and you would still have to pay $1.00 for the free bottle. Does that make sense? Let me know either way and I can reclarify if you need me to 🙂
