Below are new CVS scenarios. This post includes specific items you can purchase and coupons that you can use to maximize your dollar AND your Extra Care Bucks at CVS. Please know that you do not have to follow these transactions if you do not want to. The goal of this post is to help you get an idea on how to roll your Extra Care Bucks from one week to the next. Please also know that these transactions do not take into account tax. Every state taxes differently so you may need to budget a little extra to cover tax.
If you are new to shopping at CVS, go HERE to read Intro to CVS.

Total Out of Pocket for all 3 transactions: $22.50+ applicable taxes for $64.95 in products. Don’t forget that if you use ECBs from last week, you will spend much less out of pocket on Transaction #1.
Also – Don’t forget that you ECBs will expire in a few weeks and if you let them expire, you are basically throwing away money. If you are concerned you will let them expire, I would put your ECBs towards paper products like toilet paper and paper towels which are hard to get dirt cheap!

Can I do transaction number 1 and use my $5. off $30 purchase, then give them my BOGO pantene coupons?
Liza says
Hi Amanda! As long as in transaction #1 you buy $30.00 worth of items (before coupons) you will be great! And yes, you would give them the $5/$30 first and then your Pantene coupons. Let me know how it goes! 🙂

It went well. I got 6 shampoo and 2 conditioners plus the dish soap. Total oop 1.44. ( I had ecbs from thanksgiving)
I am bummed that transaction 2 didnt work. The $2/1 playtex q is for gentle glide and they only carry sport in the 5 dollar size
