When I was given the opportunity to review Dunkin’ Donuts’ new Pretzel Roll Sandwich, I jumped at it. We love all things Dunkin’. We go there multiple times each week to get $0.99 Dunkin Donuts Happy Hour Coffee. And my son loves it when we get him donuts. So this morning I was excited to have Asher (my son) “help mommy with work” and help me with this Dunkin’ Donuts Pretzel Roll Sandwich Review. He took his job very seriously and looked at me with his big eyes and said “we need to get a donut too.” So we headed to our neighborhood Dunkin’ Donuts and went through the drive through to pick up our breakfast. I ordered the Bacon, Egg and Cheese Pretzel Roll Sandwich as well as a large coffee and a glazed stick donut.
At first glance, the Pretzel Roll Sandwich looks like a pretzel. There are large salt flakes on the top. When I cut through the sandwich, I could tell that the bread was very soft. And it was. This sandwich was really good! The salt on the bread was the perfect accompaniment to bacon, egg and cheese. And, the roll really did taste like a pretzel! I split the sandwich with my son and he ate every bit of his sandwich (and his beloved donut). 🙂
