Have you been to Discovery Cove in Orlando, Florida?  My family and I recently had the opportunity to go to Discovery Cove and we had the most amazing time.  Once we arrived at Discovery Cove, I quickly realized that it is not a typical theme park. Instead, Discovery Cove gave us a resort-like experience as we didn’t have to deal with long lines, crowds or extra expenses.  Your entry fee into Discovery Cove includes everything from parking to breakfast and lunch, to snacks to beverages (including alcohol).  Even things like towels, sunscreen, snorkels, fins, swim vests and lounge chairs are available once you arrive!  Make sure you read about my Discovery Cove experience HERE.

    #4- Otter Encounter. While I love all animals and teach Science to third graders, I’m thinking of my daughter who is 26 and a mommy herself now. Her favorite animals are otters and she’s worked so hard with three little girls under the age of 4 that I think she and I would LOVE the chance to interact with these delightful little mammals.     My family would live the dolphin swim! I have 2 chronically ill children who love animals. They are 11 & 12. Due to medical expenses, we can never really afford to do anything fun. We make the best of things, & we really do have a great life, but that is one extravagence we will likely never to be able to afford.     definately # 1 .. I am a single mother who tries my best to spend quality time doing adventurous things withthe kids each weekend throughout the summer. This Day in age parents have to struggle to maintain things that sometimes the kids lose all the family time we used to have I have pledged NEVER to allow that to happen so I try to find a way to do one activity a week with my 6yr old and let her see life isn’t only about the struggle.

    This is an awesome post. I see that you and the family had a great time at the Cove and it was nice of them and you to give this prize away. I like you did not know that The Cove wasn’t like other theme parks. It looks like paradise. You give out so much information regarding the park that helps so much. It’s great deal for the cost, not easy to find these days. My preference of which of the four experiences, I would have to say to play with the otters; although all of it would be such an awesome experience in itself.

    There is no number 1 choice. My family and I would be blessed to experience any of them. I will say #2 Being immersed in the Grand Reef would be a fantastic learning experience for me and my kids. I would love to teach them how important and vital our reefs are to our ecosystem
