I know that the month of February is almost over but did you know that February is National Snack Food Month? I love my snack foods. I’m not going to lie, my favorite snack foods are the salty snack foods that are full of food coloring, preservatives, calories and junk. Yup. I love junk food. But as a family, we try to eat healthier and show our children how to eat healthier. So we try to eat healthy snacks like fruit, nuts, organic granola bars and pureed pouches. Below are some of my favorite Healthy Snack Foods that I give my kiddos! AND, in addition to snacks, I’ve included some awesome products that make eating snacks easier and more fun!
Two of my favorite brands to give my kiddos are Earth’s Best and Ella’s Kitchen. I especially love their fruit & veggie pureed pouches. While my son is too old for baby food, he still enjoys pouches. So these are awesome ways to sneak extra fruits and veggies into his diet. I also love that both of these brands have snacks that grow with children. They have everything from baby formula (Earth’s Best), to baby food to pouches to toddler cookies to crackers and more! These boxes are the coolest ever and they help promote healthy snacking! Snack in the Box is a unique snack container that features two separate chambers. Each chamber holds 6 ounces of your child’s favorite dry snack and keeps food from being crushed or mushed on the go! I use this in my son’s lunchbox. In half of it I will put a crunchy snack and the other half I will put a small fruit like grapes or blueberries. My favorite box is the Drink in the Box. We don’t give our kiddos much juice and I haven’t found any juice boxes with ingredients that I like. So Drink in the Box is an awesome alternative. You can add your own juice to the box or infuse water with your child’s favorite fruit! Head HERE and HERE for more info.
I love everything about this Pacific Play Tents Tea Party Tent. It is not only adorable but it is the perfect place to make snack time extra sweet for your child! It’s the perfect place for your child to get cozy in with books, a sippy cup and a snack! This adorable little pink house is spacious and bright. It provides tons of fun for indoors or outdoors and mesh windows provide added air ventilation. Head HERE for more info.
