The Florida State Fair is coming to Tampa from February 8th through February 19th 2018. Every year the Florida State Fair attracts more than 500,000 people over the course of its 12 day event. I have lived in Florida for over 14 years and I’ve never been to the FL State Fair and I’m so excited to go this year!

I didn’t realize this but the Florida State Fair boasts the largest Midway in North America with 110 different rides! This year the Florida State Fair is unveiling thirteen new attractions including meet and greets with Paw Patrol and Rusty Rivets; Teen Stars Live; FL State Fair Dance Championships featuring stars of Dance Moms; Little Farm Hands presented by Mosaic; BMX/FMX Freestyle Madness, The Ninja Experience, Mini Monster Trucks and so much more!

Some of the fair foods we will see this year are a Surf N Turf Sundae, Southern Catfish Sundae and Barbeque Pulled Pork Ribbon Fries! YUM.

    I have been to the Florida State Fair twice before, always with my husband. Well I recently got divorced.. and would love to make some memories there with some friends/family and not him. 😊

    My favorite food at the fair is a corn dog. Regardless of whatever weird stuff they come up with next, I always look forward to having a corn dog there.

    I am born and raised in Florida and have never been to the Florida state fair. My 3 sons who were also born and raised here haven’t either. They are 18,16,&14. We are currently trying to save up for their very first Disney trip.

    My favorite fair food is corn dogs. I know it seems blah with all the other odd stuff that comes out every year but I love them!

    My current favorite fair food is Chocolate Bacon but I love fried vegetables, fried doughnut burgers, fried cheesecake, elephant ears, and the list goes on and on. The fair food is one of many reason why I go to any fair when I can afford it.
