Don’t ask me the correlation but Moe’s Southwest Grill’s Facebook page just posted a link to this great FREEBIE. Right now you can print out a coupon good for a FREE 60-Day Trial Membership to BJ’s Wholesale Club on BJ’s Facebook page. I often say that the cost of wholesale club memberships isn’t worth it when you are couponing since you can often save more money at the grocery store. But, a free trial membership like this would be great because you could stock up on meat deals that are priced lower than grocery stores! To print your coupon, go HERE to “like” BJ’s Wholesale Club. Then, click the “Free Trial Membership” category to access and print your coupon. **You must activate your coupon and begin your 60 day trial membership by 7/5/11. Go HERE to find a BJ’s Wholesale Club near you.
**While you are on Facebook, go HERE to “like” Addicted to Saving and never miss out on a deal again!

For singles or couples with no children, or small families, that probably is the case. However, we have a family of 5 with three boys, one twenty four (home most weekends) and two teenagers. I do buy bulk items such as store brand paper towels, toilet paper, produce, meat and milk -6 gallons a week- at Sam’s Club. Their milk is usually 70 cents to $1.00 cheaper per gallon, and when you have to buy that kind of quantity weekly, you just can’t count on coupons and sales. For us, the low cost of membership ($35.00 per year for 2 cards) is covered in a few weeks of shopping.
Thank you for posting this information. I unfortunately do not live near a BJ’s, but I have heard they take some kind of coupons. All the better. I have also heard they get rave reviews from those who shop there. Just wish I lived close enough to take advantage.
On a side note, I want to thank you for this site and all the effort you put into it. I am fairly new to couponing, I’ve always used them, but not with this level of strategy. I enjoy both the savings and the challenge. This site is awesome.
BJs DOES take coupons and they are AWESOME about it. I live in Brandon and shop @ the BJs in New Tampa. They put out their own coupons every month, plus always have fliers at the front of the store as well. If you buy a two pack of something, they will let you use 2 manufacturer coupons as well as a BJs coupon. For example, they have Simply Orange OJ there in a 2 pack and you can use 2 SO coupons AND a BJs coupon (if there is one). They usually have awesome deals on detergents and fabric softener. I buy the Gain and can normally save $5 per bottle with combining coupons. The toiletries are pretty decent, but Publix and CVS (Wags too, but I don’t like them) normally can beat BJs deals.
Just try to match up as many coupons as you can and you’ll see great savings there!
I actually got a membership at Sam’s Club this past weekend for $10 for 10 weeks. 🙂 We went there yesterday and got some great deals. I of course figured out unit prices to be sure they were good deals. For example, I got a 5-lb box of Bisquick for $4.09 and I was at a local grocery store today and happened to be walking by the Bisquick and checked the price- it was $4.99 for a 3-lb box!!! 81.2 cents per lb versus $1.66 per lb. The Knorr rice sides are in a 10-pack and is $8.98 or 89.8 cents per pack. Thankfully I didn’t get them since Publix has them for 79 cents this week!! So, my advice would be to make sure you check out the unit prices and compare with the grocery stores you shop at. 🙂
