My name is Liza and I began my money-saving journey in the Spring of 2009 as a way to stretch a limited household income. I had lost my job and my hubby was self-employed. The Hare Krishna’s on UF campus used to make this *amazing* dressing with Braggs liquid aminos- a friend got the recipe from them and scaled it down for small batches- mix everything together in a blender and enjoy over mixed greens, cucumbers and tomatoes.
Note-recipe will thicken as it stands
3/4 cup of almonds
3/4 cup of water
3/4 cup of corn oil
1 tsp Braggs liquid aminos
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup nutritional yeast
1 tsp Asofoetida (a tumeric based seasoning mix- sub tumeric if you don’t have it)
