Confused on the way WG works??? Went today and was going to buy 4 Sinex…I had 4 $4 sinex coupons and 2 RR’s. One for $1 and one for $2. So…4 items, 6 coupons. The computer wouldn’t take it. The Assistant Mgr (who was NOT nice) said that the RR were MF coupons and I couldn’t use 6 “coupons” w 4 items. What’s the point of using the RR? I don’t get it.

I totally agree with you. This is a silly policy Walgreens has put in place that RR are considered manufacturer coupons & that you can only use one “manufacturer” coupon per item. I have had the same problem when i finally decided to give Walgreens a try after faithfully shopping at CVS, where I have absolutely no problems using their extra care bucks & manufacturer coupons. This is a silly policy Walgreens has put in place. Unfortunately, you would have to add a “filler item”, such as a 10 cent piece of gum at the check out line. I do this for each RR I want to use in addition to using the “real” manufacturer coupons. Good Luck next time!

I had the same problem. The RR’s are not MF coupons if you can’t use them anywhere else other than WG. I hope someone can explain ;(
I know it’s crazy! That is why in all the samples given they talk about filler items. All you need to do is find 2 filler items ( usually look for something under $.20) even a penny item works (hard to find — easier with clearnce items). Something to do with Walgreen and the system. When it prints out it says MF coupon but what MF it doesnt matter. It got me when I first started at Wags.
Frustrated! Been to 5 Walgreens and all are sold out of Finish! Raincheck doesn’t help because you can’t get RR after Sat!

Currently am about to call three close ones near my job…the 1st one, I’ve been transferred/waiting to three people already and NO ONE answers me. They just keep…transferring. Wtf.
Then I had another bad experience with Walgreens today so…wow, they can’t get their act together.
