Hey Randy – I get coupons on Sunday too.. I was just cutting this past Sunday’s dog food coupons tonight… Depending on where you live you should probably have the coupon in your insert from this past Sunday’s paper.
Are you able to get good deals on the Duck and Potato food? My dog has allergies too, and the food is soo expensive.
Hi Lauren – Sadly, I don’t get good deals at all. I feed Pacey Natural Balance dog food. Sometimes it is on sale ($54 for the largest bag)… The only tip I have for expensive dog food is to try to use competitor pet store coupons. The store I go to accepts all nearby pet store coupons. So, if I have a $5 off $30 coupon from a competitor, I can use it at my store. Besides that, my dog is the only one in this house who gets to eat expensive food that is purchased w/o coupons! lol
I am confused on how to make this deal work when the printable coupon says “long lasting chew item” which I would assume is not a biscuit but the rawhide type chews. Has anyone used this scenerio and been able to just get 2 boxes of biscuits?
Hi Mary – I was at Publix this morning with the hopes of doing the deal and my Publix didn’t have the correct items for the deal to work. But you are right, I’m thinking the coupons may not match up for the scenario… I always hesitate posting deals without trying them first but then if I never post the deal b/c I’m being conservative, you all may miss out on a real winner! Eeek! So, if you do try to do the deal – make sure you read the coupons carefully and only get the items if they match up perfectly.
Hi, I’m fairly new to the coupon thing but loving it. Can someone tell me if I have a coupon (publix coupon) that says $2/2, do I need to buy two products or will they give me $1/1? I should say I’m in florida. Thanks!
Hi Yani! Welcome 🙂 If you have a Publix store coupon that says $2/2, you will need to purchase two items. You will not be able to use the $2/2 nor will they reduce the coupon amount to $1/1 if you only purchase one item. The good thing about Publix store coupons tho, if you use a $2/2 Publix store coupon (Publix store coupons have to have a LU# on it) you can also use two $1/1 manufacturer coupons. So, make sure you find manufacturer coupons to go along with the store coupon! Good luck and let me know if you need any help!
