I don’t know about you but I’m astounded by how quickly kids grow out of clothes! When we adopted our son last summer, he was small for his age. His pediatrician was concerned and we spent a lot of time and effort making sure he was getting plenty of calories and healthy fat. Despite our efforts, it took him a while to start growing. But once he did, my goodness… I feel like we went through 3 sizes in about 7 months!
Garanimals is a clothing line that is designed to help moms keep up with their growing children. Children’s clothing is expensive – especially when some sizes are only worn for a few months. Garanimals clothing was created to provide babies and kids with fashionable clothing while also guaranteeing quality, comfort and value! Garanimals is sold exclusively at Walmart stores and online at Walmart.com. Their sizing starts at newborn and goes up to 5T.
Go HERE to learn more about Garanimals and purchase their clothing! Shirts and pants are around $3.88 each. Or, purchase a set of clothing! You can purchase a Newborn Girls’ 21 Piece Layette Set for $35.00 making each article of clothing only $1.67!
I’ve come up with a few tips and tricks on how to dress babies and toddlers comfortably for playtime while also sticking to a budget.
- Don’t go crazy buying clothing. Having a full closet of clothing doesn’t make sense when your child is only going to wear a size for a few months.
- Learn about and shop for brands like Garanimals which promises affordability and comfort.
- Accept hand-me-downs. One of my best friends and also my sister-in-law have both blessed my son with gently used clothing. Accept hand-me-downs and then pass your child’s used clothing on to other children!
- Shop at garage sales. I’ve seen huge bins of children’s clothing sell for just a few dollars.
- Check Facebook to see if there are Kids Clothing Trading & Selling pages in your area.
