This fresh burst of cool air puts me in the mood for a big bowl of chili! While I prefer homemade, you can grab Hormel Chili for as low as $1.15 at Winn-Dixie this week if you have the right coupons.
Here’s the scenario:
Buy 2 Hormel Chili, 15 oz – $3.29 BOGO
Minus one $1.00/2 Hormel Chili Products, Any – 09-08-13 SS – Manufacturer – (exp. 10/28/13)
Total Due: $1.15 each!
If you don’t have the newspaper coupon, check out this printable scenario:
Buy 2 Hormel Chili, 15 oz – $3.29 BOGO
Minus one $0.50/2 Hormel Chili Products, Any – Coupons.com – Manufacturer
Total Due: $1.40 each
Of course you could always try getting Hormel Chili BOGO at Walmart using the coupons with their new BOGO matching policy. 🙂
I’m new to couponing and I have a simple question that I really need an answer! When talking about BOGO deals and using a coupon, you say “Buy 2… etc, do you mean grab 4 and you pay for 2? or get 2 to the register and once the coupon is scanned you’ll only pay for 1? I’m confused!!! Please help. Thanks.
Hi Angela! Great question. When I say buy 2, I mean purchase two items or to say it a different way, place two items in your grocery cart 🙂 At checkout, the register will recognize that you bought two items in a BOGO sale and one item will automatically be free! And then, most stores will let you use two coupons on the two items you purchase. So not only will you get the items for 50% off, but you will also get the value of two coupons taken off of the total price as well! BOGO sales are awesome – especially when we have coupons to use along with it! Let me know if you have any more questions or need further clarification. This can definitely be confusing!
Thank you so much! I appreciate the fast response. I’m really enjoying your site. You’re awesome!!!
