I went to CVS today and they were all of the the 6948XL. We went to Walmart who has the 6948XL for 29.99. When they scanned my coupon, it wouldn’t accept it. They had to call a manager over who went back and checked to see if I could use the coupon or not and they said I couldn’t because the coupon is specifically for the 6000 model which has a regular price of 99.99. The picture on the coupon is the specific 6000 model also.
I checked Norelco’s website and they do have a specific 6000 series razor:
Shaver Series 6000 wet & dry electric shaver:
Norelco Shaver 6000 wet & dry electric shaver
DualPrecision heads
GyroFlex 2D contouring system
40 min shaving, 1 hour charge
1150X/40
$99.99*
So Amanda got lucky that CVS accepted the coupon. π
It is not good for CVS as they won’t get reimbursed as the correct razor was not purchased.
It would have been an awesome deal but the Walmart Store manager was correct.
Happy Shopping!

I was able to use this coupon without any issues at my CVS. I got it for $8.31 after tax, and on top of that, I got $10 in extracare bucks. Then after the fact found out from other readers that this was to be used on a different razor. I contacted Norelco to confirm, and the customer service person I spoke with agreed the language of the coupon was confusing. Many, including myself, were thinking 6000 included 6948XL. It’s easy to see where the confusion comes in. I know of a few people who actually were able to use this coupon at Walmart. I am not sure how Norelco will deal with this problem, but they should have specified model numbers. I indicated that to them. I am sure next time, they will be putting that on the coupon. I have never bought an electric razor before, and am not familiar with them, so I assumed what many others did, as I said, that that razor was part of the 6000 series. I feel bad, but a little clarity by the manufacturer goes a long way.

I went to CVS in FL for the same sale and they did not have the 6000 series they only had the 2000 series. But they were on sale for $29.99. Still not a bad deal. So I did not get lucky enough to get this deal π And the coupon is only for that specific series 6000.
Priscella says
I was told by my cvs that the coupon does not match the product. The 6000 series is a more expensive one. And they had actually accepted one coupon yesterday, and they got “in trouble”. And that those who have done it are committing coupon fraud.

Coupon value is now 5.00
Ang says
There is now a $10 off for 4000 or 5000
