So, I was looking at my pantry and I realized this…. Between my Publix shopping trips and the two shopping trips I sent my husband on this week, we have taken advantage of Publix’s Italian Days sales a total of 6 times last week. YES – 6 times!! My favorite deal was the Progresso Beans deal.. They are a cheap source of protein and if you rinse them out they are extremely healthy! So – when I saw the expiration date was 2013 I decided to go crazy stockpiling!
My question for all of you… what is your confession? 🙂 Have you had fun with any sales lately?

My husband finally told me that i was not allowed to bet anymore free floss. We have a stockpile of 20!! But my thought is, they don’t expire. What is the big deal anyways???
If they are free get as many as possible and donate them – use the donation as a tax deduction. Homeless shelters, womens shelters, etc. would love your excess 🙂
My husband has “banned” me from shopping…(we’ll see how long that lasts 🙂 It’s not much compared to yours, but I stocked up on Smart Ones at Target last night. 20 Smart Ones and 2 Bocca products for $5.40! Neeedless to say our small freezer will be in need of some donations to neighbors. But I know who can use it! 🙂
I went a little Kotex crazy this past month with all the sales. Especially this week as it was a MM – I bought 18 today (yikes). My 13 year old is good to go for a long time and thinks I am a little nuts. Hey, they never go bad (I may donate some too!)
Well, not only do I have those same issues but on top of that I am moving. I am chronicling my move with a stockpile on my blog. And I have a secret. We are moving tomorrow and have SOOOO much to move already. When I went to town to run some errands and get my hair cut, I went to Publix, Kroger and Wal Mart and got some GREAT deals!! Like, I got money back at Publix it was soooo good!
I just went to CVS today and got Dove Deoderant that was on clearnace for $2.14 and then I had a $2 off coupon so I got Dove Deoderant for 14 cents!! Wooo hooo they also had secret on Clearance for $2.74 and I had $1 off coupons!! (and it wasn’t the basic secret it was the flawless)
I too must confess…I am addicted! I have so many scrubbing bubbles I’m going to have the cleanest bathrooms in Florida 😉
I went crazy on the Kotex and the Marie Calendars frozen meals. My husband also says I have more tampons that I need in a lifetime. So when my sister came to visit and I got asked her if she needed some Kotex for Free my husband flipped when we came back from publix, but was pleased to see they werent for me. My publix will take any expired publix coupon within a year now. So I stock up on the green and yellow flyers.
I went a bit crazy on the eight o’ clock coffee a few weeks ago when it was BOGO-figure I saved at least $50-then the price nearly doubled and I wish I had bought more!
