I’m a little confused. My 12.5 oz Corn Pops box has the “KN” but the better before date is March 06 2011. So this one is ok, right?

Brenda says
Wow! I have 6 of the 8 boxes I bought left and all have the recalled KN & UPC. My 14 yr old DD has been eating it everyday for the last 2 weeks and I just took her to the doc for nausea and running to the restroom for the last 11 days. Doc said its not the flu or a virus and was thinking it may be Crohn’s so they sending her a blood test for next week. As strange as this may sound, I am hoping its just a temp side effect from eating this. I called Kelloggs, they will be sending me 8 MQ’s and will call me next week to check on her next appt. It is a volentary recall and they do seem to top of this.

Brenda – I feel so bad for your 14yearold! I hope she feels better soon and while I would hate for her to be affected by Kellogg’s, like you said, it would be better than Crohn’s! Keep me posted, if you don’t mind! I will pray she feels better soon and that she doesn’t get a diagnosis of Crohn’s!

Brenda – Hello my name is Angie. My son has been to the doctors for over a month now. They to thought he may have Crohn’s disease because he has had constant cramping in his stomach area. Afer many test, blood work, and CT scan, they cant figure what is wrong with him. Keep me posted.
Brenda says
Hi Liza & Angie – I just wanted to update you on my DD. So far blood work is has not given us any answers. The doc has sent a request to our INS for approval for an endoscopy. My fear is it may be Crohn’s, but I’m trying to be as optimistic as possible. I have Crohn’s and even though it’s not considered hereditary it does seem to run in families, so I’m trying to keep my thoughts in check.
Angie, it took 7 years before I was properly diagnosed. Best advice I can give is be persistent and get second and third opinions. Crohns is a terrible thing to live with. I know of people who can manage it well on meds and I know of a few like me who have had several surgeries and it’s still not under control.
If you don’t mind, I’ll keep you & your son in our prayers.
