As an FYI, my Publix is advertising “Publix” American cheese for $4.99/lb. But, they don’t have any in stock so they are substituting Land O’Lakes American, white or yellow for it, even though the sign in the case for the Land O’Lakes says it is selling for $8.xx/lb.
If your Publix doesn’t have the advertised Publix American cheese either, this may just work for you as well. Be certain they lable the cheese as Land O’Lakes at the Publix American cheese price.
