I am so pleased to announce that I am participating in another great giveaway extravaganza! This time, ten blogs (including myself) are giving away gift cards. I thought about the type of gift card that I wanted to give away to one of my lucky readers and I figured that a $200 Visa Gift Card might be just what one of you need. Just think – you can put it towards something fun like a purse, something fun and yet practical like new clothing, something necessary like paying your electric bill or something responsible like putting it towards savings. However you use it, I am so excited to be able provide one of you with this great prize!

You can enter up to five separate times on this post. Do not leave a comment on Addicted to Saving’s Facebook page or email me your entry. It may take some time for your comments to show up on this post as I approve all comments.

    As a single mother of 2 children with no income coming in, I would use this $200 to by the necessites to provide for my children. Of course, I would use coupons, so this would last me a LONG time! Thanks for the giveaway! 🙂

    I am honored to have the opportunity to potentially win a $200 gift card!! Thank you for that!! A gift card of this magnitude would mean so much to my family. My husband has fatty liver disease that is in cirrhosis and he has been told he has 6 months to possibly a year to live. I would love to win this gift card to be able to help make his last days better. I would use it to buy little things that he enjoys such as sliced colby or sharp cheddar cheese, ingredients for an occasional spice cake, name brand sodas, occasional meal out from Subway, KFC or one of our favorite pizza places. I would also use it to buy some much needed pillow cases, trash bags and chicken, steak and possibly boneless pork ribs. I work full-time but with my husbands illness and the rising gas prices, I don’t often have the money for “extras”. I would just love to help make his last days as good as possible even in small ways as he is a wonderful man and he deserves to be spoiled. Thank you!

    I would give it to my daughter who is pregnant with her third child. She was VERY ill while carrying her second child, so gave away ALL her maternity clothes after that birth thinking she would have no more children. As my youngest daughter is getting married in 3 months, my middle daughter really needs some new maternity clothes.

    I would use my Visa card to pay for some of my two daughters’ Birthday Party decorations. I have a daughter turning 1 and a daughter turning 2 at the end of March and the beginning of April. I am having their party together but I am making it look like 2 parties by buying 2 sets of decorations (Elmo and Abby Cadabby), two sets of balloons, two cakes and everything because I want my 1 year old to feel like she is having a special first Birthday. I was going to have the parties separate for that reason but my husband is being deployed before I would have a chance to have them separate so they have to be together before he leaves.

    If I were to win the $200 Visa Card, I know there are a ton of things I’d want to do with it. I’d like to buy myself or my fiance something cool. I’d like to buy some toys for my niece and nephews, or a bunch of plans for my mom’s garden. But I know that what I would do with it is vastly different. Instead of buying something for someone I know, I would drive around town. I would find the first homeless person on the side of the road, and I would hand him the gift card, and let him know that I understand the hard times he’s going through, and despite them everything will get better before he knows it.     Ok so I wanted to say something like use it to pay for medicall bills, medicine, counseling etc. But honestly, I would use it to pay for a babysitter and take Eddie away for one night, kid free and without the stress of having to pay for it. He has done EVERYTHING for a few weeks now and literally has prayed thanking God that he gets to love and serve me like this. He has so much stress at work and it’s so hard at home. Oh, and he ALSO deserves this bc he told me if my new sleeping medicine helps me get good sleep he doesn’t care if it makes me gain 50 lbs, I will still be beautiful as ever! 🙂
