Almost one year ago, I decided to try essential oils. I decided to dive head first and purchase a Young Living Essential Oils starter. The distributor (a friend of mine) I purchased my oils from was having HUGE success with them and I was inspired to try too.

Having a then one year old who had multiple upper respiratory infections before we adopted him, I was always very worried about him getting sick here at home. I wanted to see if there were oils I could use on my son that would help prevent him from getting sick. Please know, I’m not anti-the doctor and I’m also not anti-medicine. In fact, I love our pediatrician and I am not adverse to medication. And I can say that after testing out the oils for a full year, I do. I use an oil called Progessence Plus to help even out my crazy hormonal issues. Hubby uses oils like peppermint and thieves to combat his migraines. We both use peppermint when we have aches and pains from working out or from stiff necks or lower back pain. The $75 kit comes with the diffuser and samples and a full sized Citrus Fresh, but NO kit of 10 oils. If you don’t have the budget for the starter kit, then definitely consider purchasing one of the lesser priced kits. Just know that you aren’t getting any full priced bottles and the diffuser will use up your sample packets fast.
