Hey Susie,
I never had this problem before, I tried breaking up the transaction also, and they told me only 1 $5/$50 per day….I didn’t have anyone with me to do the second transaction…now I know, I’ll definitely have to plan to go with someone if ‘m buying alot of stuff….

Nordia, I don’t think this is a new rule. I’ve tried to do that before and it didn’t fly. I wanted to use two of the W/D $5/$30 coupons on a transaction over $60 and was told they would have had to be two separate transactions. I never made THAT mistake again! If I have to break it up into three transactions, I do! 🙂

The total order before coupons must be equal to or greater than the combined purchase requirements indicated on the coupon(s) presented. We consider competitor’s coupons for dollars off groups of items to be a dollars-off-total-order coupon and will only allow one per day, per household.

I tried to use 2 of the winn dixie $5/$50, and the cashier told me I could only use 1 on my order of $105.00

“I have a rain check and a coupon for an item, but the coupon is now expired, though it was valid on the date the rain check was issued. Can I still use the coupon on the item?”

Yes, Publix will accept the coupon that was valid on the date the rain check was issued.

Yes Salli, I agree. I’m going with the “Yes” part of that answer for sure! 🙂

“Will Publix accept a competitor’s coupon for a private label item?
Yes. We’re happy to accept a coupon for a competitor’s private label product because it’s a chance to introduce you to our terrific Publix brand.”

The new rule is a bit ambiguous but really doesn’t seem to change anything. Worth checking out,
