If you are new to using coupons and shopping at Publix, then I know getting started may be overwhelming. I wanted to try to help you out. I’m going to give you a mock grocery list using this week’s current Publix sales ad. I’m not giving you a ton of items to buy, but I thought that if I showed you 6 or 7 items to buy using coupons it may help you get the hang of it. The grocery list I’ve made you includes only printable coupons and two Publix store flyers. That way, if you are new to gathering and stashing your Sunday newspaper inserts, you won’t have to worry about not having coupons for the sale items! ALL of these items are on sale right now at Publix so if you want to get your feet wet on couponing, the items should be easy for you to find and buy! (Go HERE to see this week’s Publix ad and coupon matchups!)

I’m thrilled you posted this… I tried your strategy today… Went to Publix to pick up our normal weekly groceries.. Spent 69.25 and saved 68.83.. We were thrilled to save almost as much as we spent… We’re very excited to continue to work on our goal of 80-90% off!!!

Awesome job today Coy!! Please feel free to email me if I can ever be of assistance 🙂 Keep up the good work!

I have a question. If the 8 o’clock coffee is BOGO at $4.99 and you have a $2/2 coupon, wouldn’t that make it $2.99 instead of $3.99? Maybe a typo?
LOVE the site! Thanks for all you do.

Elizabeth!! GREAT Catch! I’m making the change right now 🙂

Where do you find all these coupon books?
Liza says
Hey Kim! The Green Advantage flyer is going to be next to the store ads.. Usually there is a kiosk right by the front door as you enter into your Publix. The Multiply Your Meals and Savings booklet should be either by the store ads & flyers OR in another place in your store. You could also ask customer service if they have the booklet… I gave the link to the post I made about the booklet.. make sure you look at the picture of it so you know what you are looking for. Keep me posted on how it goes!
