If you have been following our adoption story, we have an update 🙂 I updated our adoption blog this past Friday and I wanted to make sure I shared with all of you. Hubby and I have accepted the referral for a 9 month old boy. He is smiley and according to his paperwork is healthy. (I can’t post any pictures or his name until we pass court.) We are calling him “Baby T” for now. If you would like to read more about Baby T and our adoption story, you can check out our adoption blog HERE. I think I should have a new update in the next 24 hours or so regarding traveling to see him.
To those of you who have been following our adoption story and who have been encouraging us through all of our ups and down, I wanted to say thank you. Your support has meant the world to me. Even when we were at our lowest points this past year, it meant a lot to know you were behind us.

My name is Liza and I began my money-saving journey in the Spring of 2009 as a way to stretch a limited household income. I had lost my job and my hubby was self-employed. I launched Addicted to Saving in November of 2009 and it has grown by leaps and bounds. Since then, my hubby and I have struggled with the ups and downs of two failed adoptions and are now LOVING being parents to our little man Asher who we brought home from Ethiopia in August of 2013. Keep your head up in the baby process – it is challenging and discouraging isn’t it? I will keep you posted for sure 🙂 I’ve been silent on my adoption blog for quite a while, mainly due to disappointment and sadness, but things are looking up and we now have good things to report!
