I did an awesome job yesterday on my spending and saving during this Publix trip. I focused entirely on the sales and the coupons that I had in my stash since I needed nothing. Although, looking at my photo, we did need the Bic lighters – we use those for candles and starting the grill so I was super excited they were on sale Buy One Get One Free. It was a great trip despite the day I had had so far with a horrible experience at the dentist office. (It was not on sale B1G1 when I did my weekly shopping yesterday at my local Publix..) **update – I just posted my Photo Show and Tell from yesterday’s Publix trip and I realized on my receipt that Kraft Sandwich Shop Mayo did ring up as B1G1!!

Carvel Ice Cream Cakes are rumored to be on sale B1G1 this week at Publix! I checked out two Publix locations last night and neither of the locations sell Carvel cakes so I wasn’t able to confirm this rumor. I can’t guarantee that you will find Carvel cakes at your Publix but you might want to bring your coupons in case they are on sale! They are usually priced around $9.99-$11.99 each depending on the size. So, you can score an awesome deal if you have the $2.00 or $3.00 coupons below!

I thought it might be fun to get a bit of discussion going this gray, balmy Friday. I’m curious as to what your favorite deal was for the month of June. It can be anything – a free sample you got in the mail, a deal you got at your local drugstore or grocery store, a high value coupon that scored you a great deal, a purchase you made online, etc etc. Inquiring minds want to know!
I will start the dialogue and I really want to hear your favorite June deal! 🙂 My favorite deal is split between two freebies. (Of course I can’t narrow my answer down to one thing! ;)) My first favorite deal was the FREE Bounty Paper Towels at Target (go HERE). My second favorite deal was the FREE plus OVERAGE Smart Balance Milk Deal at Publix (go HERE). It is usually IMPOSSIBLE to score paper towel or milk deals so I was thrilled to get both for free!! I am kicking myself that I didn’t order more paper towel coupons from Coupon Clippers before they sold out because I would have loved to get even more for free!!
