I had another great Publix trip today! I think I’m officially ready for Thanksgiving cooking and baking! Stay tuned – next week I will tell you all of the dishes I am making for Thanksgiving dinner so you can see how I cook off of my stockpile! For today, though, I think my favorite deal was the BIC Lighters. I love those things and at $0.25 each after coupons I had to stock up. They are perfect for lighting deep jar candles like Yankee Candles. This Christmas if I give away candles as presents I will have a lighter to give right along with it! 🙂 I wasn’t planning on buying regular potatoes either.. I still have the potatoes I bought a week ago.. BUT, the bags of Idaho potatoes had a hang tag on them where you get $1.00 off potatoes when you buy Breakstone Sour Cream. I was already planning on buying the sour cream so I just couldn’t pass up buying two 5lb bags of potatoes for $0.99 each with the coupon! If you decide to do any of the deals using Publix’s Harvest of Savings booklet, make sure you note that the coupons expire tomorrow – 11/20. I had a great trip though and I’m super excited about next week’s cooking!
The items I purchased today coincide with this week’s Publix Weekly ad. To see this week’s ad & coupon matchups, go HERE.
If you are new to saving money at Publix, read my Intro to Publix post!
**NOTE**
1) My Publix allows us to use more than one of the same Publix store coupon and/or competitor coupon. Not all Publix locations allow this. You should ask customer service if they allow this before loading up your cart.
2) Not all Publix locations allow overage. If your Publix does not allow overage, they will adjust the value of the coupon down so that you receive the item for free.

Lisa,
If you wouldn’t mind telling me, I would like to know which Publix you shop at. I usually shop at Mitchell Ranch Plaza in Trinity which I like because they accept Target coupons and it is closest to my home. However, it has been months since they have had any of the booklets that I see everyone writing about. I am thinking of some excursions to other Publix stores to see if I can find some booklets. Thank you.

Wow, that is just fabulous. I cannot believe the price of your Sundown. Here they are 5.99 each.
I would like to invite you to link up your savings at the Weekly Savings Linky @ Frugality Is Free Tweet about The Weekly Savings Linky, and you could win a free ad space. I am also giving away both ALDI and Del Monte gift cards.

Thanks for all you do! I will be making a small trip for the BIC lighters.

Just wanted to let everyone know….my Publix does not have Bailey’s on sale for 2/$3. The price just now was 2.09 each. There was another creamer on sale for the 2/$3 but not Bailey’s.

also, check your binders for the wheat thins stix coupons from kraft first taste. I have a “get one free” and $1.25 off one for the wheat thins stix. I also have the same two coupons for triscuit thin crisps.
