Well – I am slowly learning my lesson about doing my weekly Publix shopping trip late in the afternoon on Friday afternoons because all of you have already been there and wiped the shelves clean! Despite not being able to do the Family Size chips deal that I had planned out in my head, I still did great! And, for the first time, my store had Kraft Fresh Take in stock so I was excited to finally be able to score six Kraft Fresh Take for free 🙂 I’m especially excited to try the Chili Lime & Panko flavor. I also was thrilled to see that my Publix had lots of Blue Diamond Soy and Wasabi Almonds. That is our favorite flavor and I don’t think I’ve ever been able to get this good of a deal on them. So, my hubby and I are very happy! My only disappointment for today was realizing that I left my $2.00 off Publix bakery coupon at home.

That’s funny you mention going on Friday and the shelves being cleared. I was one of those people going first thing Thursday morning to make sure I got my deals. Then I realized that I am usually better off going Wednesday night and getting a rain check if I need to. Usually my store has everything back on the shelf by then. Plus I realized even if it’s on sale, I don’t always need it. Like chips….good deal, but we definitely don’t need those. When I first started couponing I was amazed at all the deals and felt like I had to get them all. Now I spend a little more money to make sure I’m picking the healthier options….and they usually have plenty of those deals, lol.

Kellogg’s cereal is 2 for $5 with a Target $1/3 and a manufacturer $1/3 then on the box is a $3 off a gallon of milk when you buy 3 cereals. So I got 3 cereals and a gallon of milk for $6.09.

I usually go Wednesday night and shop but those Pepsi q’s were going to expire and the free stax were expiring too. Plus to make it worse, we are out of town and I had to go to an unfamiliar Publix. Anyhow, we hurried in after eating out and tried to grab a few of the deals. The chips were really picked over and then to my dismay I realized I had forgotten my free sunchips q back at the camper which really made me sad. I asked my cashier if I could fix it today and she said she thought they would let me. That’s why I love Publix! You’ve got a great haul this week.

I love the fresh takes. The hamburger one is the best. very cheesy. You can also use the mix on salads or other dishes that require cheese. Who can say no to free cheese. Kraft is the best.
