I hope you all have had a great week! My week was busy with a capital “B” but great nonetheless! A huge thanks to everyone who came to last night’s Addicted to Saving 101 class! What an awesome turnout! And, a special thanks to the lady who made her family celebrate her birthday last Sunday, even though her actual birthday was yesterday. She said her family thought she was crazy to choose to go to a “couponing class” on her birthday. She ended up winning one of the prizes I gave away so I’m hoping the prize made up for the missed time with her family! 🙂
Today was yet another great day at Publix. If you think that I didn’t buy a lot, you are totally correct. Because of my HUGE frozen chicken stockpile courtesy of Zaycon Foods, (go HERE to read how to score awesome deals on boneless, skinless chicken breasts), I needed only some fresh produce. I focused on some of the stockpile priced deals and also used some of the “free value” coupons I have that are expiring 7/31/11. Hopefully you saved the $2.00/3 Kellogg’s Pop-Tarts coupons I posted about earlier this month because now is the time to use them! As you will see below, I scored an awesome deal on the 6 boxes of Pop-Tarts pictured above!

When I tried to use my Mueller $ 1.00 Coupons Publix would only let me use 1 because it says 1 per transaction : (
Mine said I couldn’t use mine because the whole grain wasn’t included in the sale.
both are wrong.. whole grains are included in the sale i scored 10 boxes free plus overage and the next time someone tells you that you can only use one per transaction explain to them all coupons say one per purchase on them and each box is considered a purchase I have been running into that argument 1quite a bit lately.
another great savings to look for at publix tomorrow will be nivea body wash for woman currently on sale at publix 2/6.00 tomorrows paper has a2.00 off each coupon making it just a dollar..also dont miss the listerine deal publix has there own store coupon in one of those extra ad flyers in front of store for 2.00 off a 1-1.5 liter bottle tomorrows n
coupons will have a dollar off (some stores have bottles with manufactures coupons attached for 1.00 off) the 1 liter bottles are on sale this week amking them .99 each
Yeah I agree. You should have talked to a manager about the pasta. I got 8 boxes of whole grain and plan on going back for more. Here’s my list of what I got on 7/28. I spent $9.23 and saved $142!!!
