My FAVORITE thing about having my own website is getting feedback from all of you! Especially success stories – there is nothing that makes my day more and inspires me more than hearing about how you are saving, how you are improving and seeing pictures of your shopping ventures!! Please keep the pictures coming! I try to post Reader Success Stories at least once a week!!
The picture above is taken by my fellow addicted to saving friend Kara. Kara is one of the people that encouraged me to get into blogging and giving seminars 🙂 She bought all of these items while we did our Target run this morning. And, I need to admit that Kara did better than me today at Target (see Kara – I told you I would admit it! :)) Kara spent $7.66 on EVERYTHING in the picture and she saved over $48.00!! The picture above was taken by Dee Dee. All of these items were the result of the FIRST time Dee Dee really starting maximizing her savings at Publix by matching great coupons with great sales! Dee Dee spent $21.03 on everything in the picture above!! And, considering she splurged on some non-sale items, she did GREAT!! I can’t wait to hear what kind of results Dee Dee has this week!
The picture above was taken by Kim. Here’s the huge thing to note about Kim… She went shopping to Publix last week after attending my Addicted to Saving 101 class in Clearwater. Kim wasn’t big into couponing prior to the class. BUT, within just a few days of my class, she went to Publix and spent $41.99 and saved $192.20. How ridiculous is that? Again, to reinforce, this was the first time Kim really started matching up Publix sales with coupons!! Kim – I know already that you are going to give me a huge run for my money!! Considering you saved over 82% on your FIRST try, I can not wait to see how you do in the future!!! WOW.
The picture above was taken by Trisha. Trisha bought all of the items above at CVS and Walgreens for only $18.84!! She saved over $68.31!! I love the fact that Trisha got so many necessities – detergent, paper towels (why the heck are they never at dirt cheap prices?), Cascade, etc etc. Great job Trisha!!!
This picture is another Publix success story. Janet bought all of the items in the picture above for pennies. LITERALLY pennies. Janet spend $0.58 and saved OVER $79.00 on everything in this picture. RIDICULOUS!! Awesome job and I can’t wait to hear (and hopefully see) how you did this week!!

My name is Liza and I began my money-saving journey in the Spring of 2009 as a way to stretch a limited household income. I had lost my job and my hubby was self-employed.
