So – the end of the week is here and I haven’t gone shopping. I think last year, out of the entire year, I skipped out on two week’s worth of shopping and one of those two weeks my husband shopped for me. Well, this week has been one of those long weeks where I’ve been fighting the flu and then at the same time juggling what seems like 100 balls. My husband was going to go shopping tonight for me but I told him we would take the week off. We more than indulged in the Italian Days sales the past two weeks and my stockpile is overflowing so we need literally nothing. Top that off with a shipment of meat I received on my doorstep today from Kansas City Steaks (used Groupons) so I have enough beef, ham and chicken stockpiled away to last a good 3 months. I have what I thought was the largest freezer ever and it is stocked so I’m okay taking the week off! And, truthfully, there are not a lot of sales this week at Publix that are exciting to me. Are there any sales you are looking forward to? Any deals that you think are noteworthy? Would love to hear!
And – if you recall, I asked all of you to email me your photo show and tells! Below are the highlights of the photos you all sent! I can tell you all are doing an awesome job saving money and that many of you have learned the concept of stockpiling. Great job everyone and thanks for the photos!
**Also – make sure you click the link at the bottom of this post that says “Read the Rest of This Entry” so that you don’t miss out on any of the deals below!

The picture above is Part One last week’s Publix trip for one reader… Below is Part Two with the amount spent.. 🙂
The picture above is Part Two for one of my favorite readers (I also saw her while doing my weekly grocery trip so I have a special place in my heart for her ;)). She bought everything in Part One and Part Two AND 8 bags of Doritos for $20.84!! She spent $20.84 on $245.00 worth of groceries including meat, produce, cleaning supplies, and so much more. Great job!
Everything in the picture above cost $27.33 after coupons and sales – this is on over $67.00 worth of groceries! And not pictured are bottles of Zephyrhills water! Those Mission tortillas are calling my name right now as I have a craving for Mexican Food!
Look at all the sauce!! Okay – so this picture is from an extremely coupon savy reader of mine. Or should I say readers! They are a great couple who share the shopping responsibilities and they save big bucks together. Everything in the picture above is valued at $197.00.. Guess what they spent?? Just $2.26!! Awesome job!
Last but not least, the picture above shows $169.00 worth of groceries. How much was spent? A mere $3.35!! And that includes tons of cheese and soda. Great job!

Great photos!! I too, have told my family I am taking the week off. I stockpiled so much at Publix last week so I think I will give myself a break. Thanks as always Liza and hope you’re feeling better soon 🙂

Liza I am sorry you are not feeling well, thank you for all you do! I was wondering how you spent your money with the Kansas City Steaks? I bought the same groupon but I am not sure what items are the bang for my buck!

You totally deserve a week off! I usually take a week off every so often because it is a lot of work compiling the coupons and spending the time shopping. I do love doing it, but we all need a break every now and then! And that’s the best part about stockpiling… we are able to take the time off & not go without. 🙂 Hope you feel better!
