This week has been all about spring cleaning! We have been decluttering and going through closets, boxes, cabinets and drawers. I admit that spring cleaning is not as easy when you have a 19 month old “helping”, but it has been fun and seeing our house decluttered makes it feel so much bigger and cleaner!
Today’s shopping trip was a small one. We were able to do two transactions of $30.00 each so somehow we managed to get $60.00 worth of groceries. We did two transactions because we wanted to use one $5.00 off $30.00 Winn Dixie coupon in each transaction. Our Publix accepts Winn Dixie coupons and every week I use a $5/$30 coupon when I shop. The Winn Dixie coupons are found in Enjoy the City Coupon books. Right now the coupon books are marked down as low as $2.50 each. Please remember that you do not see much produce in today’s shopping trip because hubby and I belong to a weekly coop. So, every week, we get a bin full of around 40 lbs of fruits and veggies. We also have stocked up on boneless, skinless chicken breasts and ground beef with Zaycon Foods. **Right now Zaycon Foods is taking reservations for their upcoming Thighs, and Wings Events!
