Well, this week has been busy busy busy! My hubby is back in Africa with the Man Up and Go. He left Monday for Uganda and still has over a week before he will be home. This is his third trip to Africa with Man Up and Go in less than 2 years. Every time he goes, I’m swimming in work since he handles a ton of Addicted to Saving responsibilities. But this trip is different. Now I’m swimming in work and trying to be a full-time parent to my son who does not sit still ever. Oh – and I have been watching an abandoned kitten and also making sure that the three birdies who just hatched in a nest in my garage are being taken care of by momma birdie. So I’m exhausted! I’ve had some business deadlines to meet this week which added an extra layer of “fun” to everything! However, my mom is staying with me and helping out as of today. Grandma to the rescue! (I should add that I also have a great team of gals who have helped out behind the scenes on Addicted to Saving as well. It takes a village to run Addicted to Saving!)
Tomorrow I have an exciting event I’m co-hosting in Hyde Park, Tampa. I’m headed to Winn-Dixie for their Making Happy Happen event. Go HERE for more info on the event! The event is from 12:00 – 2:00. The first 20 moms who attend will win a prize! And, prizes will be raffled out throughout the event and someone will win free diapers for a year! Please join us! I would love to meet you!
Since this week was so crazy AND since I had such an amazing shopping trip at Publix last week, I didn’t get a ton this week. I loaded up on yogurt and got my $0.50 bags of Twix and Snickers Bites (don’t judge – I’m stressed – candy makes everything better). I also took advantage of the Publix coupon and Libby’s Canned vegetables sale. Of course, I needed cream corn tonight and my Publix doesn’t sell Libby’s creamed corn… So I had to pay full price and buy two cans of Publix creamed corn. The horror (just kidding). 🙂
Please remember that you do not see much produce in today’s shopping trip because hubby and I belong to a weekly coop. So, every week, we get a bin full of around 40 lbs of fruits and veggies. We also have stocked up on boneless, skinless chicken breasts and ground beef with Zaycon Foods. **Right now Zaycon Foods is taking reservations for their upcoming Thighs, and Wings Events!

Was that -$5 off/$40 Publix coupon available in the Broward County area newspapers?
Carolann says
What am I missing about the wet ones? I am calculating that they should be 35 cents each, at that price.
$2.69 divided by 2 = 1.35
minus .50 (Target Q)
minus .50 (1/2 MQ) = minus 1.00 total SHOULD be .35 each. Right???
