How is your summer going? Have you gone away on vacation? We have been staying close to home (i.e. home) this summer. We’ve spent a lot of time at the pool with Asher. He loves to be outside and as much as I like to chase him around and play with him outside, it is just so so hot to do that right now! So swimming has become a fun activity for all of us! Yesterday I posted a little about the past year in Thursday’s Thoughts. I know many of you have asked for updates and now that we are nearing one year since bringing Asher home, I decided to blog about all of the experiences we have encountered both before and after bringing him home!
Did you go grocery shopping this week? How did you do? I wasn’t overly excited about this week’s sale. I was happy to get a great deal on Weight Watchers Frozen Novelties and I was also excited about getting feta cheese cheap. I like to stock up on feta and then freeze it. Many of you have asked if freezing feta changes the cheese. I haven’t found that to happen. I usually put feta in both hot pasta dishes and cold pasta salad dishes and I haven’t noticed any difference. So if you decide to stock up, I highly recommend freezing it so that it doesn’t go bad. 🙂
