Photo Show & Tell: College Inn Broth, Ricotta Cheese, TGI Friday’s Snacks and more

Are you guys ready for Christmas? We are getting very excited! With our son being just a little over two, he doesn’t really “get” Christmas. But we have been having so much fun talking and talking to him about it. He will hold Mary or Joseph from our manger and point to me or daddy respectively. And he’s excited about eating birthday cake to celebrate Jesus’ birthday. He doesn’t really understand that he will be getting presents but I have a feeling that he will catch on quickly. 😉

Last night we went to the zoo and Asher had tons of fun looking at all of the lights, listening to the music and seeing the reindeer. It was a fun time for us to get away from work and spend some time together as a family.

This shopping trip is definitely a hodgepodge of deals. Last Saturday my friend and I made 40 freezer crock-pot meals (20 meals for her, 20 for me). So I have lots of food frozen in my freezer. Today’s trip was more about getting some desserts and taking advantage of the deals available.

Please remember that you do not see any chicken or ground beef purchased because we have stocked up on boneless, skinless chicken breasts and ground beef with Zaycon Foods. **Right now Zaycon Foods is taking reservations for their upcoming Salmon, Cod, Ham, Chicken Tenders and  Lean Ground Beef Events! You also do not see much produce as we belong to a coop and every other week get a delivery of organic fruits and veggies.
