Another week has come and gone! Time is flying as I chase around our 16 month old and work on Addicted to Saving! We didn’t need a lot this week – really we only needed fresh spinach and bananas. Besides those two things, I wanted to take advantage of a few of the sales and also use the $10 off $40 Sweetbay coupon burning a hole in my pocket. We did awesome this week. We spent $10.10 on everything pictured above. The past few weeks we have been spending a lot more than I would like so $10.10 made me very happy!
How did you do this week? Please leave a comment sharing how you did! I would love to hear!
Please remember that you do not see much produce in today’s shopping trip because hubby and I belong to a weekly coop. So, every week, we get a bin full of around 40 lbs of fruits and veggies. We also have stocked up on boneless, skinless chicken breasts with Zaycon Foods. **Right now Zaycon Foods is taking reservations for their upcoming Bacon, Sausage, Ground Beef and Ham events!

Did you read the fine print on the mueller’s coupons? Limit one per customer. Seems everyone has been abusing this coupon.
Addicted to Saving says
Oh my goodness, Dana, I didn’t see that! Can you take a picture of it if you have it and email it to me: addicted to saving at hotmail dot com. I would like to include it in an updated post!

I actually don’t have a camera phone or camera, sorry 🙁 The IP and newspaper insert q’s both says “Limit one coupon per customer”, though, not per transaction. So if you brought extra people with, it should be okay. Sorry, didn’t mean to be hostile about it, it just grinds my gears a little. I had one IP version of the coupon and one newspaper one, went to Publix to use them with my boyfriend and guess what? All out. My favorite CS lady told me 2 women came in Thursday morning and cleared them out. I asked if she knew about the fine print, and she didn’t know. I just hate to see people abuse coupons, we’re all here to get a good deal. If people make too many mistakes Publix is going to be less awesome with their coupon policy, and I don’t want that to happen. I love reading your blog, rock on!

I actually had 4 of these coupons on my counter ready to use when I read this post. Honestly, even with my glasses on I still couldn’t read that fine print that says one per customer. I never would have seen that and it surprises me because I used several blinkies a few weeks ago that looked the same. I wonder if they had that same wording. That print is so small I wonder if a cashier could read it either. Thanks for the heads up, I won’t try it now. I really wish wording like that would be bigger or bolder. I really don’t want to break the rules (or get stopped in check out with something I wasn’t expecting).
Addicted to Saving says
Thanks Dana! No, I didn’t think you were hostile. 🙂 I just don’t have any of the coupons yet so I couldn’t read the fine print, and was hoping to get a pic. You’re right though, if we’re not following the rules, it penalizes those who are trying to abide by the policies. So like Jennifer said, I appreciate you brining it to my attention! It was an honest mistake but a mistake nonetheless.

i dont believe the Sprout coupon from publix was a match. it is for snacks, not baby food pouches – that is if youre using the Oh baby! coupon. I havent seen any other publix ones
Addicted to Saving says
Hi Taryn! I used the printable coupons available on publix.com. This is the link to the printable coupons HERE (you may have to type in your zipcode to view the coupons). The coupon says “$1.00 Off The Purchase of Two (2) or More Sprout Organic Toddler Snacks Fruit & Veggie Crispy Chews Purple Berry & Carrots, or Fruity Yogurt Bites Fruit & Yogurt Pieces, 1.10 or 4.22-oz pouch” I had to read the coupon a few times to make sure it covers pouches it does. 🙂

FYI—Today’s smart source had a 75 cents off muellers pot size pasta q. This one reads LIMIT ONE COUPON PER PURCHASE.
