After today’s Publix shopping trip, I officially have enough candy for our trick-or-treaters! Today was a great shopping trip! You will see that we purchased a ton of Knorr Side Dishes. We are going to be sending them to my hubby’s sister who is a teacher in Africa. Their local grocery store doesn’t have packaged mixes like this and she misses them. So, this will be part of our Christmas present to her – she doesn’t need to know we got them for $0.29 each right? 🙂 I also got two boxes of Van’s Waffles because my $2.00/1 coupons expire tomorrow. They weren’t on sale so I didn’t get the best deal in the world, but the coupons I had were high value AND I’m starting to wonder if I have a gluten allergy. I’m getting blood work in the next week and regardless of the results, I think I’m going to go off gluten and wheat. Eek. So, at least I will have two boxes of gluten-free waffles to help get me started!
We are also really trying to watch our spending every week because we are now participating in weekly coop. Our coop isn’t cheap, but we are getting a ton of produce. (above is this week’s share.) So you will no longer see me purchasing produce (unless I really need it or unless there is a spectacular sale). Also – as a reminder, my freezer is stocked of meat courtesy of Zaycon Foods. So you won’t see me purchasing a lot of fresh meat.
How did you do this week? I would love to hear!

So you’re publix let’s you use a $5/$30 if you pirchase is over $30 before subtracting coupons? A cashier at my publix told me that he had to subtract my coupons first. Is this detail listed in the publix policy so I can show my cashiers?
