I can not believe Christmas is next week! I am so excited to have Christmas now that we are finally parents. And I’m also so excited to be able to slow down posting deals on Addicted to Saving (no offense). 😉 This week’s Publix shopping trip was really based around my favorite deal of the month which was BOGO Kraft Cheese! Since my Publix accepts Target coupons, hubby and I were able to stock up on quite a bit of cheese that will last us for months. Please note that Target store coupons state “limit one coupon per customer.” Since hubby, myself and Asher went shopping together today, we were able to use two of each Target coupon.
I am making a lasagna for Christmas so I was excited about the Sorrento ricotta & mozzarella deals. Today I also had to purchase ground beef despite the fact that I was supposed to pick up 40 pounds of ground beef with Zaycon Foods last week. Why did I have to purchase ground beef? I forgot to pick up my ground beef from Zaycon when they were in town. Sigh. I am running on empty over here and totally forgot to get my beef. So, I have zero ground beef stockpiled away in my freezer. Such a bummer.
Please remember that you do not see much produce in today’s shopping trip because hubby and I belong to a weekly coop. So, every week, we get a bin full of around 40 lbs of fruits and veggies. We also have stocked up on boneless, skinless chicken breasts with Zaycon Foods. **Right now Zaycon Foods is taking reservations for their upcoming $1.89 Fresh Boneless Skinless Chicken Event!
If you shop at a Publix that accepts Winn Dixie coupons, you might notice that every week I use a $5.00 off $30.00 Winn Dixie Enjoy the City coupon while grocery shopping. Right now Enjoy the City coupon books are on sale for as low as $1.00 each! (Each book has FOUR $5/$30 Winn Dixie coupons!) When I factor the cost of the coupon book with the $20.00 worth of coupons in it, each book is a $19.00 MONEYMAKER! Go HERE to see the Enjoy the City deal.

Pamela kamplain says
Just curious , does your Publix make you split your order into two transactions?
Addicted to Saving says
It really depends on how well I know the cashier. 😉
Addicted to Saving says
But as a general rule, yes, they make us split the orders into two.
