This week Asher and I headed to Publix for a quick shopping trip. He and I are both tired. And my list wasn’t that long. So we were able to get in and out of Publix within about a half hour. Today’s shopping trip was fun for me because I was able to purchase some foods I’ve never bought before! (That is one of the things I love about couponing – trying out new foods that I get for cheap or free!) I’ve never tried Promised Land Milk, Bolthouse Farms drinks or Campbell’s Slow Cooker Sauces before – it will be fun to try!
As a reminder, you do not see much produce in today’s shopping trip because hubby and I belong to a weekly coop. So, every week, we get a bin full of around 40 lbs of fruits and veggies. We also have stocked up on boneless, skinless chicken breasts and ground beef with Zaycon Foods. **Right now Zaycon Foods is taking reservations for their upcoming $3.49/lb Lean Ground Beef (93/7) Event!
This week’s fruit & veggie coop was also a great week! Below is all of the produce that was in our bin on Wednesday! Love eating cleaner! I will admit that a coop is definitely a financial investment. But the way we try to eat is around our fruits and veggies. There are many times you will see us eating green beans with marinara sauce on top or roasted veggies with a side of pasta.
