Today Asher and I had a mother/son date at Publix. Going into my shopping trip, I was a bit worried because my grocery list was extensive. I didn’t know how a squirmy almost 14 month old would do. But he did amazing. He was all smiles and only tried to pull items off the shelf 10 or 11 times. 😉
This is my favorite time of year to go grocery shopping. Every year before Thanksgiving and Christmas, the sales are always awesome and this year was no different. Publix accepts competitor coupons. The Publix that Liza shops at considers Target, Winn Dixie, and Save-a-Lot as competitors. Each Publix posts in there front window which store coupons they accept. Some don’t take Target because there aren’t any in the area. I think since most Targets (certainly Super Targets) sell food, that’s why they include them as their competitors. Hope that helps.

Robin, first make sure that the Publix you shop at accepts Target by either looking at tje sign in their front window or ask at customer service. When you are ringing up items, just hand coupons over to cashier. It has to be a $ off coupon, not a % off.
was your total over 90? my publix only allows publix or target coupon not both unless you fufill the coupon requirement.

We do not have a Publix and nost of the stores around here have very strict policies. 2 lioke couoons per order/ Cannot use 2 coupons on a BOGO as you are not buying 2/ 2 seperate orders max/ some stores even limit how many coupons you can have per order. I print out all stores policies before I go in and have not had a problem yet.. 2 main stores I shop do not offer double coupons but they do take them at face value. I asked one store why they are so strict and they said Simply the Extreme Couponersand people not careing if others get to take advantage of the special. They got tired of the fighting and excessive rain checks so they changed their policy. I would love to take advantahe of these awesome prices but I cannot as I am a full time Mom and Student and I cannot go shopping all the time to get the deals. Sorry if this is a downer post but it is my reality.
