Happy New Year’s! I hope all of you had a safe and happy Christmas & New Year’s! My hubby and I spent a week in St Louis at my in-law’s house. We had a great time hanging with family. I carried on the second annual tradition of bringing a jig-saw puzzle. My problem is that when it is time to order a puzzle, I don’t want to order an easy one. So, I ordered a 2,000 piece puzzle of a city in Italy that I dream of visiting someday. Even with the 6 adults that were working on the puzzle intermittently throughout the days, we didn’t complete much more than what you see below. I guess next year, I will order either 1,500 piece puzzles or a larger puzzle that doesn’t consist of so many like colors (at least 50% of it was water and rocks).
Besides the highlight of hanging with family, I was also able to witness a treat that I haven’t seen in a while. SNOW. Being in St Louis made me realize that I don’t miss cold temperatures or gray days AT ALL. But I do sort of miss the first snow when you can watch the snowflakes lazily falling and slowly gathering on the ground to form a perfect carpet of white. It snowed on the last two days we were there. It was the perfect ending of the trip. (I’m not going to lie – arriving home to temperatures of 70 degrees and perfectly sunny skies made me tell my hubby that I think I take for granted the winters we have here. They are heavenly.)
But back to my Photo Show & Tell. 😉 I didn’t purchase a lot this week. You all know this already, but hubby and I joined a coop and every week we get a bucket full of fruits and veggies. That combined with the meats we have frozen away, I didn’t need much and I didn’t find this week’s sales to be that amazing. I was very excited about getting Crunchmaster Gluten Free Crackers for $0.60 each and I was also excited about getting Frosted Flakes for hubby at $0.82 a box after factoring in the $1.25 cash back from Ibotta .
How did you do this week? I would love to hear!

Signed up for Ibotta from your site. Not sure I’m comfortable linking my Pay Pal account to this app? What’s your view on this Lisa? Thanks for sharing
Hi Sherry! You will definitely need to do what you feel comfortable with. I purposefully did not post about Ibotta for a couple of months because I wanted to make sure they are legit. (They started their program in the fall and I just started promoting them last week.) From everything I can see, they are a legit company who follows through with their promises. In fact, just last night when I scanned my receipt for the Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes offer, it only took Ibotta an hour to approve my transaction and credit me the $1.25. Again, I would tell you to perhaps read the fine print and if you are comfortable going forward, to do so. If you don’t feel comfortable, I totally understand. Everyone has different levels of comfort 🙂
That looks like Cinque Terre on your puzzle, specifically Manarola. Stayed there for a week as part of our honeymoon and I have a snapshot or two almost identical to your puzzle. 🙂
Great job Erin! It is Cinque Terre! I’ve been to Italy but not to Cinque Terre! Hopefully someday I can go too!
Which Co op do you belong to?? I checked the web to see if there were any here in Clearwater, Florida where I live … was not able to find one but, would like to possibly join one.
