I had another great day at Publix today. I love it when they have good buy one get one sales that can be matched up with high value coupons. If you haven’t already, please read my post about this week’s Publix sales. Everything that I did today, you can do too. And, yes, if you look at my picture above, you may say that I have pasta coming out of my ears. I do. But, if you recall, a month ago there was a pink full page ad in the Sunday paper advertising Mueller Pasta and the Race for the Cure. On the ad was $1.00 off of 2 boxes. When I used 6 of those coupons today, I was able to get 12 boxes of pasta for 10 cents each. How could I say no to that?!?
Here’s the rundown for today’s Publix adventure
- 2 Emerald Nuts (on sale for B1G1 and $1.89 each after coupons)
- 12 Mueller Pasta (on sale for B1G1 and 10 cents each after coupons)
- 2 Knox Gelatin (FREE after coupon)
- 8 Uncle Ben’s Rice (on sale for B1G1 and 25 cents each after coupons)
- 2 Bags of Nestle Miniatures Candy (on sale for B1G1 and $2.50 each after coupons)
- 2 Perdue Chicken Tenders (on sale for B1G1 and $1.19 each after coupons)
- 4 Pillsbury Simply Cookie Dough (3 for $6.00 and FREE! after Publix store & man coupons)
- 2 Breyers Ice Cream (on sale for B1G1 and $1.59 each after coupons)
Grand Total: Spent $17.49 on $90.89 worth of food. (Saved $73.40 or 80% of the grocery bill!)
