It is crazy to think that this time last week I was in sunny California! As you all know, Hyundai sent me out there to test drive the new Santa Fe. I LOVED both San Diego (it was my first time there) and the Santa Fe. Hubby and I are discussing the car at length right now as we desperately need a car to replace his small junker once we bring home our adopted kiddos. Go HERE to read about my time in Coronado and the San Diego area of CA and my thoughts on the new 2013 Santa Fe!
After recovering from this past weekend’s jet lag, I started focusing on this week’s Publix shopping trip! Their ad is HUGE (go HERE to see this week’s Publix Weekly Ad & Coupon Matchups) and there are lots of high value printable coupons and insert coupons we can match with the sales. We went armed with coupons and ended up doing a lot of damage! We spent $14.61 on everything pictured above. Not bad right? Since we don’t have kiddos yet, I’m giving the yogurt and juice to a friend who has young kiddos. We will also donate the sauce and the canned green beans.
I know you might think it odd for me to purchase items that I am only going to give away, but I could not resist Ragu for $0.33 or Mott’s Juice for $0.25! When I first started couponing, I gave very little of my food away. Now that I have a large stockpile, I will occasionally add to it, but not that often. Instead, when there are rock bottom priced deals, I will take advantage of them and either switch out older items in my stockpile or give them away. Couponing is an awesome way to use your food to bless others!
How did you do this week? I would love to hear! **Note** I used a $5.00 off $30.00 Winn Dixie Enjoy the City coupon because my Publix accepts Winn Dixie competitor coupons. Enjoy the City coupon books are currently on sale for as low as $1.67 each! (Each book has FOUR $5/$30 Winn Dixie coupons!) Go HERE to see the Enjoy the City deal.

Great shopping trip Liza!! We do the same thing and buy things that are at rock bottom prices and donate them every week to a local Food Ministry. It really feels good to help those that really need it.

I’m having trouble printing the Publix Spring Savings coupons… I’ve tried everything. All of my other coupons printed… Did anyone else have any problems printing these coupons?

Looks like you had a great shopping trip! We don’t have Publix in my area, but I’ve heard rumors that they may buy out my local Harris Teeter. After seeing your totals, I won’t be too upset if Publix comes to town 🙂
