Photo Show & Tell: Sorrento Cheese, Progresso Beans, Green Giant Veggies and MORE

What a week!  I know every week I sound like a broken record, but every week and I am always so thankful once Friday comes!  Hubby did help me relax a bit yesterday.  For Valentine’s Day, he wanted to help me relax.  So he instructed me to go for a run and shower while he made dinner.  I went for a run in the rain which I haven’t done since I was training for a marathon a couple of years ago and while I was drenched by the time I got home, I had a blast.  I have to admit that after I cleaned up, I helped out a teeny bit on the meal (hubby says I’m a back-seat driver when he’s in the kitchen and while he’s driving).  I wanted to show off the meal he made with the picture below (Grilled Shark with a homemade bbqish sauce, fresh green beans with garlic and mashed potatoes with shallots & garlic.  The mashed potatoes were to die for.)

This week I have been so excited that Publix started their Italian Days sale!  While I can’t say that I bought as many beans today as I did in years past, I did get six cans to add to my stockpile and I will probably get a few more before the sale is over.  There were some good deals at Publix this week.  Our veggie coop gave us a HUGE bin of fruits and veggies this week so I really didn’t want to spend a lot of money on foods since I have a lot of produce that needs to be eaten.  We ended up spending $17.58 and saving $52.61.  I was disappointed to see that my Publix was out of Kellogg’s Nutri-Grain bars so I wasn’t able to stock up on FREE Nutri-Grain bars like I had planned.
