Photo Show & Tell: Weight Watchers, Silk Almond Milk, Knorr Sides, Mrs Buttersworth’s and MORE

Today we had a large shopping haul. We actually spent more money than I would have preferred, but we stocked up on almond milk (our 15 month is dairy free until we can get his reflux under control) and we purchased organic deli meat for Asher as well as Musselman’s applesauce and pricey eggs for him.  Let me tell you – our son eats better than us!  We’ve given away some of the groceries that we purchased already. We try to give away groceries each week as a means of paying it forward.  Sometimes we give to friends and family other times to families in need.  If you stop over my house on a Friday, there is a great chance that you will be sent home with groceries!

There are some awesome deals this week at Publix.  I sent hubby to the store with Asher and they were able to get most of the deals on our grocery list.  A few items were wiped clean though.  Within the past few weeks, I’ve been hearing more and more about shelf clearing. You guys! There really is no need to buy 10, 15, 20 of an item!  Please shop responsibly!  I learned of one Publix that limited the Snapware deal and despite that, shoppers were purchasing 20+ of the containers.  If your store gives limits, please follow them! Publix is extremely coupon friendly.  We want that to continue and if we abuse their generosity, they will start to impose more and more limits. So please be responsible! There is no need to hoard or to be greedy.  🙂

Please remember that you do not see much produce in today’s shopping trip because hubby and I belong to a weekly coop. So, every week, we get a bin full of around 40 lbs of fruits and veggies. We also have stocked up on boneless, skinless chicken breasts with Zaycon Foods. **Right now Zaycon Foods is taking reservations for their upcoming $1.89 Fresh Boneless Skinless Chicken Event!
