If you are on medications, you need to take a look at the Walgreens Mobile App. Walgreens is making refilling prescriptions, remembering to take prescriptions and chatting with the pharmacy extremely convenient. I don’t know about you, but during the holiday season, I have a difficult time remembering to do the most simple of tasks. I find that all of the things to do on my “to-do” list can be so lengthy and overwhelming that many times I forget or overlook some of the most important things to do.
The Walgreens App is helping us remember to take care of ourselves. (Isn’t that really the most important thing we have to do!? If we forget to take care of ourselves, everything else will fall by the wayside!) The Walgreens App has everything from Weekly Ads, Rewards and shopping list features to help us as we shop. From a prescription standpoint, the app has text alerts, scan refills, pharmacy chat, vacation scheduler, and pill reminder!
To download the Walgreens app, head to the App store on your smartphone. For more information, go HERE. I have the iphone and I was able to download the app in less than 3 minutes! Once the app is downloaded, you can immediately fill in your info to help you remember to take your medications and to also refill any prescriptions that you are running low on!
There is a pill reminder that you can fill in. I love this because you don’t have to just put medications on your reminder. If you are like me and take vitamin supplements, you can also schedule the reminder for vitamins!
This pill reminder is also an excellent tool to help family members remember to take their medications. I know as family members age, often they are on more and more medications. And sometimes, memory issues cause issues with remembering to take important medications on time. This app will help family members remember to take their medications on time!
The Walgreens Mobile App makes refilling prescriptions super easy! You won’t have to call your pharmacy. All you need to do is scan the barcode on your pill container with your phone. Automatically your local Walgreens Pharmacy will receive a message that you need a refill and they will prepare it for you! How easy is that!
